Bought 2, none worked as advertised

Purchased for an air compressor that has a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. The first depressurized at 90psi, the second just short of 150.

Pros
  • ASME Safety Grade with UV and NB markings
Cons
  • No power

I recommend these: - Relief Valves

Does exactly what it's supposed to do, relieves tank pressure when it gets too high! I bought this for my Campbell Hausfeld home compressor, the old one would go up to 90psi and then depressurize. Installed this new, no premature vent! Has a 1/4 NPT thread if you're wondering! I recommend it, CPS

Pros
  • Brass construction, stainless steel ball and spring for corrosion resistance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

It works, the inspectors let

I think it works. I don't know about the function but it has all the necessary secret symbols, numbers and other things that they want legitimate labor relations to come whenever they need money and charge $175 for a 2 minute inspection of each compressor I've been told I need to downsize the compressor to 150psi probably because we give them trouble every time , when he comes in. So it worked.

Pros
  • NPT 1/4" male inlet
Cons
  • Not bad but...
