Refund request

Hello, I recently received the LCD board controller. The second applied a 12V power source of 2.9 amperes to the board, the microcircuit burned out. How do I get an exchange?

Works right out of the box

Removed the broken laptop panel. I got the model number and found this controller board. I turned the panel into a homemade external monitor for my laptop to extend my desktop experience. It worked great. My cost is the board and some materials for a total of $45 versus over $100 for a new and good quality external monitor made for the purpose.
