I had high hopes but was very disappointed. Tried pumping up car tires with my 12v air compressor. The compressor turned on when plugged in, but not with enough power to inflate the tires. Had to start my car again and plug the compressor into my car's cigarette lighter socket. Luckily not too expensive ($9.95) but a waste of money.

Works great. It's one of those things to have on hand because you never know. I have a roadside tire inflator with a 9v car plug. I have found that I need to pump up something that is far from my car (but has a 110 plug). It was the solution. I also have a small handheld vacuum that only has a 9V plug, so it's nice to be able to use it at home for small jobs.

I'm not sure what's supposed to power this - in my experience I wouldn't use my car vacuum or the very small air compressor I have in my SO's car. I was afraid to plug in a phone charger to charge my phone but it heated up a real cigarette lighter I borrowed from my neighbor's 1986 BWM 325i.
