Cooler Master (grey) high-performance thermal paste + nanoparticles!

works! There was no OEM compound on my AMD A9: I needed a sealant, but only gray and not cheap. This Cooler Master is the industry leading brand with nanoparticles that keep my AMD A9 chipset running fast and efficiently. ; This means it's not just a thermal 'grease/compound', it's also nanoparticles that safely conduct electricity for a much colder chipset. My brand new A9 AMD gets pretty hot in my lap; Never again with Cooler Master. The laptop is always cold, productive and clocked up; Not…

Will not spread over radiators

Previously used MasterGel Maker Nano. The MasterGel Maker Nano version is somehow renamed MasterGel Maker and then MasterGel Maker "New Edition" appears. Well, they are completely different. The "New Edition" is dry, it doesn't stick to any surface and certainly not to my Threadripper 3970X. I'm not sure if the paste is defective or "expired" but it looks like dried putty but won't spread. When you try to apply it to the processor, it sticks to the syringe, doesn't reach to 3970x, making the…

Really innovative applicator method but poor quality control

I wanted to replace my Gelid GC Extreme paste and compare it to the new 2019 Mastergel Maker after hearing about it on different forums. I was very excited and looking forward to seeing if it was as good as advertised. I was very satisfied with the applicator, very good quality, with a smooth mechanism and wide enough to apply quickly on my processor (Ryzen 3700 and 3600). Unfortunately it all ends here. The first tube was dry and very flaky. I was expecting the first twist to be a bit dry, but

Not bad. Computer Components

Well based on Artic Silver I was a bit skeptical but didn't want to spend too much on another little pipe. Because I used it to work on my PS3 which I disassembled and repaired. The paste applied very easily, no problems with that, came with a template for the chips and even an application card which was cool. be liquid or something. My PS3 seems happy too, I've left it on for a few hours and played some more and it hasn't overheated or felt too hot. So overall I am satisfied with the product…

The cryonaut is overrated. mastergel maker is much better

Like many, I jumped on the Cryonaut Heat Grizzly train. I've been using Cryonaut as my main paste from 2017 until now when I finally got fed up with how it doesn't last as long. I've had a few tubes of this and after a few months performance starts to drop as the paste dries out over time like dried toothpaste after application. It was about every 4-7 months that I had to reapply it. My last app was barely a month old with my 9900k and at the end of the month my steps were 4c higher than the…

Works best in Internals

I use this thermal compound on an i9-9900k with a Corsair AIO 240mm cooler. My first attempt with a different thermal paste was disappointing. So I decided to give MasterGel Maker a try as the reviews about it were decent. The applicator is interesting and the instructions say to apply it to the CPU in streaks like a sealant. It seemed like you were using a lot of compound compared to the traditional amount of rice grains / small pea sized amounts, but that's what I did. I made three strips on…

bad batch or just bad?

It was so thick I had to squeeze it with both hands to make it work and then it doesn't stick to anything, it doesn't stick when you apply it and you, probably applied it's closed anyway thick. because it is impossible to hold it at the right angle and with the right pressure and to press it as hard as possible. "Oh, but it's like a cross between thermal pads and compound" is true, but that doesn't mean it's good. He has all the flaws that others don't have. After all, the thermal pad is thin…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

I have seen many recent reviews of the new MasterGel Maker 2020-21 Thermal Grease. to distribute. To further exacerbate the issue, there also appears to have been a change in wording from the 2019 version to the newer 2020-21 version, where the consistency of the new 2020-21 thermal compound is similar to that of a warm chewing stick. compared to more traditional thermal paste formulations that are much easier to apply (e.g. Noctua NT-H1, Gelid GC-Extreme, Arctic MX-4, Artic Silver 5, etc.)…
