Previously used MasterGel Maker Nano. The MasterGel Maker Nano version is somehow renamed MasterGel Maker and then MasterGel Maker "New Edition" appears. Well, they are completely different. The "New Edition" is dry, it doesn't stick to any surface and certainly not to my Threadripper 3970X. I'm not sure if the paste is defective or "expired" but it looks like dried putty but won't spread. When you try to apply it to the processor, it sticks to the syringe, doesn't reach to 3970x, making the entire application a mission impossible. If you've watched CM's how-to video on how to apply this thermal paste, it seems easy, but it really isn't. This paste does not behave as shown in the video. The nano version is like any other good thermal paste on the market and much easier to apply. I would avoid "NEW EDITION" at all costs.
