Will not seal 5 mil mylar bags

I bought this to seal 5 mil to 8 mil mylar bags. I've tried a few times with a 5 mil mylar bag but it doesn't form a decent seal at all. This might work for other types of materials/thicknesses, but not for a 5 mil mylar bag.

English instructions required

So I got this today and I know it will work great for sealing my soap but it came with an extra bar and I didn't know how to keep it clean. WHY ARE MY INSTRUCTIONS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE! It was sent to a US address. In English please!

Cheap block for vacuum sealer

The product seals the bags perfectly. I was already familiar with this seal, which was good since the instructions for use were in a language I didn't know. When I picked up the device, the rough underside cut my finger. On the other hand, it is very light, inexpensive and ideal for short small jobs.

Cheap but works decently in a pinch.

The seal was very weak, it either melts completely because it is too hot or it has to be sealed more than once sometimes because it doesn't melt the entire strip. Overall, needing a cheap replacement quickly isn't bad, but if you work a lot or need it for over a month with regular use, it's not an option. Good as a backup while another model is being repaired.

Amazing little heat sealer. Easy to use and works well

My family and I love it! We seal everything with it, from french fries to frozen food. I bought this for my home business but found it the best kitchen tool I never knew I needed. It's compact, so I just pop it in my closet between uses. Now the whole family is obsessed with the idea of resealing everything. As a business tool this is amazing as all my resale products look more professional and well packaged for shipping. It was great value and I LOVE it.

Avoid - cheap and doesn't work.

One of the most disappointing items purchased to date. The box was open and damaged - crumpled and half-crumpled in one corner and the top was loose. No security tape, markings or anything to indicate that this is a new product. Inside the device was a rubber band to wrap it around and simple instructions. I remember it had 6 or 8 temperature settings but almost no difference. Tried a variety of packages including branded chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc. None of the temperature settings sealedโ€ฆ
