Worked great but rusted after the second use

The design of the strainer is great—the coils are perfectly spaced, it snugly into my mixing glass, and liquid doesn't run down the sides when pouring—but mine rusted after the second use, and I didn't do anything crazy with it (I think I made martinis and Manhattans, and it's not like I left them in the liquid or anything like that). Maybe I just got a defective unit, but there are so many other good brands that I returned it and am not going to bother trying again.

Consistent Barfly Quality, Heavy Stainless, Well Made, Looks Nice, Easy To Clean, Just Works Well

I've liked Barfly products since I got my first one (a very nice jigger). This strainer does not disappoint me. It's a simple device made of stainless steel and a stainless steel spring. The metal base is heavy and feels nice in my hand. The spring is easily removed and replaced for cleaning. It's dishwasher safe. Great value in my review

Love this strainer! I use it for work and I’ve gotten compliments for it from my colleagues. It’s good value for the price. I highly recommend it.

I like the look. in my review

Nice size. Lighter in weight but solid. Quality of the finish, antique copper, especially on the handle is not as good as I expected but overall is fine. I have doubts as to how well the finish will hold up over time but I like the look.

Not durable for my opinion

Used this julip strainer for over a year. Dropped it once and it broke. If not for that, it wad a great strainer but can't recommend because of the durability issue.

Nice dense spring best in my review

Lots of Hawthorne strainers have wire springs so loose you could pass your finger through it easily. That completely defeats the purpose of a strainer. Not this one - the spring is dense and tight and it filters drinks very well. Fits a standard mixing glass snugly and can obviously fit anything wider as well (eg a mixing tin).
