All lighted hooks work great. This is a great idea when you need extra light for your project. The hook is smooth and easily enters the loops. Sometimes the hook part can be a bit longer to hold the stitches while working, but I've continued to use it even when I don't need an extra light. Great idea and product!

The lamp is very comfortable, but the size of the hook is different from what is stated on the packaging. it hooks a bit more than stated, so if you go back and forth between that hook and another (between light work and dark work) it can ruin your tension and work. Being acrylic, it's also very difficult to get into a good hook rhythm - it takes a little more effort to get used to.

The handle is perfect for holding, the light works great when the room or place where you are crocheting is completely dark. When you have a lamp or overhead light on the light from the hook is not very visible, there is a glow it can only be my eyesight but I prefer to use this hook in total darkness. When I'm lying in bed and my husband wants to sleep, I can turn off the bedside lamp and just use the hook light. The crochet hook works great with black yarn. I definitely recommend this hook. I

Received this yesterday and couldn't wait to try it. That works great. My eyes get tired and strained when crocheting at night, especially when working with very thin and fragile yarn. This lighted hook helped a lot. I was able to knit much longer than usual without eye strain. The only complaint I have is that the plastic hook material doesn't work as smoothly as my metal hook. (I usually use a metal crochet hook with a soft grip. So I miss the soft grip as well. So it's a compromise. Smoother

I like these hooks because they are so comfortable. However, as I read somewhere in another review, not all are true to size. I bought the whole set, sizes C through K. I tested them with my Susan Bates "Knit-Chek" which has holes you can put a hook or needle in to measure. C and D fit true to size, but the letters E through K are all actually one size larger than they are marked, meaning they measure from F through L. I was unsure about buying this needle for a number of reasons. So I'm trying to break down my review as best I can. I wasn't sure how this would work for me since I hold the needles with a pen and not a knife.
