Colossal cooler! inside

I installed it on an ATX MB in a Corsair 4000D case and it has about an inch gap between the TP glass and the cooling fins. My main complaint is how heavy it is. is. It's starting to sag a bit and I'm worried about what it might do to the motherboard. I may need to get a GPU mount just for my cooler. Lol Adjustable fan mounts are great. Even with the Corsair Vengeance Pro SL RGB RAM, I had to raise the fan two levels to make room. From an aesthetic point of view, this is not enough. They could…

Great product if you have some building experience.

So if you're not used to large coolers and your case can't handle them, then this probably isn't for you. This is my 12th build of the computer and second build in my Corsair 900 Obsidian series case (although I'd probably upgrade to a 680 or so after this build, the 900 has some major issues that I wasn't aware of on the last build were ). Compared to noctua d15 there are some things that make it better (width), but overall I prefer Noctua. The biggest downside to the whole design is that the…

Amazing and efficient cooler, only the best from Corsair

Corsair knows its customers. Quality construction, easy installation (simplified with pre-applied paste!), comes with a quality long Philips screwdriver required for installation and some extra thermal paste. As you can see from other reviews the only downside is its size - it may not fit all cases - so be careful with the buyer. I hooked this up to a Corsair 4000D with no issues and space on the tempered glass. The cooling fans slide out and are easy to adjust if you need extra space for your…

Massive but very efficient

I had to remove the top cover to close the case but it keeps my 3700x idling and has never seen temperatures above 65C under load. Since you can adjust the position of the fans, it is more compatible with RAM.

Garbage .! see where else!

Over 30 years of system construction. I didn't have to remove the element 4-6 times for it to work. Going to the loading screen (after the 5th boot) was a coincidence, I walked away from the system to turn on more lights. It booted into Windows. Then my motherboard ran with default settings (numbness) so I rebooted. Getting into the bios is where the real fun started. One of the fans on this cooler decided to shut down, first one, then the other. Then both. Finally, I put the "default cooler"…

Big package small capacity

I was very excited to see Corsair getting back into the air cooler market but this product was a disappointment but I think their marketing team did well many of you to promote this product a product on which I unfortunately fell victim to a hook line plumb line. This cooler is inferior to many other coolers in this price range and you can find them for $10-20 less (Noctua, Cryorig and Bequiet!). It's one thing when he's just lost in cool but lost in tone, and that's a real insult. It uses…

Cheap braces? Too much weight?

Remember. The bracket that the cooler mounts on has threads on each side that hold the cooler. After assembling the cooler and using my PC for about 20 minutes, I hear a thud in my case and my temperature rises immediately. I look out the case window and see this huge radiator leaning against the glass. I turned off the computer and opened the case and I can see that both single input pins have come loose from their sockets! I installed this thing in under 30 minutes! Now I have to say that the

Good cooler if you know its problems

I've had 2 of these coolers - each had problems: one had a known problem due to a very non-flat base and the other had a weird AMD mounting bracket bolt issue . were loaded incorrectly. Just too big and the cooler screw wouldn't snap into place (Intel mount was fine). I had to get creative to deal with the AMD mount. I got used to the one with the bad base, but it took so long that the middle two heatpipes seem to show internal sintering (? not sure if they should have that feature). The fans…

When will I learn to ignore the image here on Revain?

I always exaggerate with cooling is a problem I work on and at the same time I found this along with a new Ryzen7 processor which looked way better than the heatsink I had was a bit a bit too high, and in the picture it looked much smaller than my large radiator. The fan blows air over the CPU - there is enough space between the mainboard and the fan, but the old/existing heatsink was only 1-2cm longer than for the fan. It looked much more "square" and therefore shorter - unfortunately I was…
