Description of Corsair Hydro Hardline Bending Toolkit

Easily cut and bend 12mm or 14mm hardline tubing with this comprehensive kit to create a stunning hardline CORSAIR Hydro X Series custom cooling loop – just add a heat gun. Includes a high-quality fine-toothed hacksaw to cut PMMA (acrylic) tubing without splintering and a deburring tool to smooth down rough edges. A unique ambidextrous cutting jig holds your tubing firmly in place for perfect cuts, with a protective ridge to prevent damaging your tabletop surface. A 30cm silicone insert ensures your tubing maintains its shape during heating and bending without kinking. An adjustable bending mandrel makes it easy to create perfect 45°, 90°, and 180° bends, with built-in notches to help accurately measure tube length.

There are some issues - Computer Components

While overall a good kit, it does have some issues. The silicone hose is short so you cannot make long hoses. The tube holder has a slight incline so that you also saw the tube holder when sawing.

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Clarity

Everything but the heat gun!

Except for a hair dryer, all the tools for bending pipes are available. The bending tool is a great idea, but not really practical. I just landed with the corner of the table top.

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Waste of money, go for a Thermotake instead

Terrible product. The hacksaw is incredibly cheap quality and the saw guard is sloped so you can't get a clean cut. Corsair VTubing is also one of the worst products I have ever used. It is incredibly brittle and will break under almost any load. I will never use a Corsair for water cooling again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some little things

The mandrel is not very good, the silicone stick is too short.

I had to make some longer runs that required 30" tubing. The included pole is about 15 inches long. So if you make something longer where you need to bend the tube further, it won't be enough. Instead, I ordered the Primochill kit. I also found the mandrel bender a bit clumsy. A hacksaw and jigsaw are still useful.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

This kit will get the job done though.

In general this setting is a must for Corsair Hardline pipes as any other cutter would break or smash the Corsair pipe. Getting a "reasonably” straight cut requires a technique such as B. no hard pressure, but long soft strokes. The miter box helps, but there is no such thing as a perfect cut. If you want to save money just go to the hardware store and buy a small handsaw, order a 12" silicone bit, metal reamer as this plastic hand drill will do all the work so you can put the pipe in the fit…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Cheap plastic for fans and cooling

The plastic they use for the bending mandrel is not high temperature resistant which defeats the purpose. This wouldn't be a problem if you didn't need to heat the tube while it's in the mandrel. You see, if you preheat the tube to the point where it's ready to bend and try to push it into the instrument, your tube will flatten out and fail completely. You obviously can't heat it in a mandrel because it will melt. To sum up the whole package: the hacksaw is very weak, the pipe clamp is totally…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Safety
