Ideal for lighting and ceiling fans

They work great. Easy to install (one screw). good light. I just wish they had a timer that goes off after a few minutes. My wife is notorious for leaving closets open, which reduces battery life.

Don't worry if your hinges don't look EXACTLY like the photo.

I don't know how to put them on my doors. My hinges are the same type as shown in the pictures but not EXACTLY the same and these absolutely don't fit.

Great looks and functionality

Quality workmanship for the price, very bright light, simple and user friendly mechanism. I had to get creative as the lamps didn't match my hinges, so I attached them to the edge of the cabinet (with screws) in a position that allowed the switch to work perfectly given the simplicity of the concept.

Order batteries and get 3M Command Strips if they don't screw onto the hinges

They are very bright but the angle of the light shines in your eyes. They don't come with batteries so be sure to order one. I couldn't install them with screws on my 12 year old Blum hinges so I cut 3M command strips to install them. In general, it installs well and quickly, but life does not change.

Well, they seemed like a good idea at the time.

Thought it would be cool and at first it seemed they work great. The device did not fit our hinges, but the description does not say so. So we had to use double sided tape to put them in place compared to what was supplied, actually got our money back and were told to keep the product. Something about working with only European hinges :( Anyway the light was cool for about 2 weeks then all the batteries die some earlier than others and of course it looks like a car remote not easy to find Iโ€ฆ
