I like the design and the cloth material. But unfortunately have to returned it as it runs too large. I wear US 30/31 and order L32(US30) size which run large for me.

This is a W38, and it fits perfectly as I had hoped. Ordering clothing online is always a gamble because of the many variables that affect how they fit and feel. For me, it fits as I expected (a W38), and the proportions and comfort are perfect for me. I wanted white shorts and these looked white in the ad picture, so I ordered them even though they said "Apricot." The color actually turned out to be an off-white that is close enough. Still need a pair of white shorts.

Got the beige ones for my husband and he loves them. The color is a true beige, the design is a little different but nice. He uses them for mountain biking and they have been perfect for that. He is 5’ 4’ and they hit below his knee. The fit is perfect (30).

I really like the look and length of these shorts. The material is fairly heavy tho & rough. The zippers are a bit difficult to zip, but not terrible. The tassels are a little long & slightly annoying.With all that said l, the worst part of these shorts is that they don’t hold together well. The buttons constantly snap off and the seams develop tears. Ever pair I’ve own require sewing of some sort. Will probably pass on a replacement pair the next time I’m looking for cargo shorts.

This was definitely a good buy (color black) . The material felt durable and strong. Had it over a month now and I have worn it a few times. The stitching is well done and the colour doesn't bleed. Waist fits snuggly and comfortably.

Expensive but worth it. Except for the zipper which could be better the material itself on the shorts is perfect for me anyone who has a good pair of cotton cargo shorts. The construction was well done and in fact the shorts are my new favorites!

I debated buying these shorts after reading the mixed reviews, but the price point was cheap, and I like a deal. I wasn't disappointed by my purchase. While the shorts are made of a material that was a little thicker than I expected, I thought the shorts themselves look good. I would definitely buy them again.

Great quality fabric for the price, The pants actually look a bit better in person than in the picture so that was a nice surprise. My only gripe is that the pouch pocket buttons are weirdly hard to open/close if you plan on regularly taking stuff out of them it might get annoying but the actual pockets are quite deep so it's not a big issue.

I bought my boyfriend 5 pairs of shorts recently on ebay including this black pair of Matchbox. I loved the shorts but all his 38's fit except this one. The waist is smaller than expected. More like a 34 or 36. I'd recommend a size or two larger for this brand. Lee's and Wranglers fit true to size but I suppose different brands call for different sizes.

Shorts fit as expected, nice quality and are comfortable. Can do without the draw strings. Will be buying more in other colors.

I really like these shorts! Great plaid pattern and style! Waist size is spot-on and length is good, but I wish they were less baggy on my thin legs. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, 32" waist. If they didn't have drawstrings at the bottom that I can pull on a little, I probably would've returned them. That said, if they offered brown and red in same pattern and style, I probably would be ordering more.

These cargo shorts are nice and heavy. plenty of pockets and wide which is what I like. They have seem to have gotten smaller/shorter over the years, so don't hesitate to return if you don't like shorts that end before hitting your knee.
