I'm running in gloves at 20 degrees and warming up. When my hands get hot, which usually happens after 3 miles, I take off my mitten and run with only gloves.

Commuting to these guys, the perfect job for my 30 minute commute to the office and 30 minute commute home. Wind protection in mittens is surprisingly effective compared to regular gloves.

Works well in temperatures of 20° and above. I've found that on colder days I have to tuck my thumb into the mitten flap to keep it from going numb from the cold. Used when running.

The gloves have been used for more than just running/cycling. used them for snowshoeing and skiing. Worked well and hands were warm. not very convenient when trying to use a touchscreen device. But given the benefits and usefulness in other areas, I can live with that.

Ideal for cold weather (up to 40 degrees) with a wool or fleece lining and also perfect for spring and autumn when it's still pretty cool for no fingers. Definitely waterproof in moderate torrential rain, but haven't tried them in heavy rain yet.

I bought these gloves as a gift for my husband who bikes to work every day in cold (usually but not always above freezing) and wet weather. When I first saw them I was afraid they were too thin to keep him warm. Not so. He reports that they keep his hands warm, dry and comfortable to the touch. I don't know how they would have held up in really inclement weather, but so far they have weathered the Pacific Northwest coast winter well.

Will these gloves run in cold and windy weather at 30 degrees and wind speeds of around 25 miles per hour. I stayed warm and had no problems during the three hour ride. The inside of these mittens has a waterproof and windproof layer. They are surprisingly thin and very warm.

I use many different temperature mitts but these were better than most as they are convertible. The folded part of the mittens is particularly windproof. The only downside: the outer material of ski poles and bicycle handlebars wears out and doesn't last forever.

Warm for cold skiing. The flap helps a lot in the cold/wind but isn't flexible enough and makes it difficult to keep a couple of fingers on the handlebars and a couple of fingers on the brakes - a separate bag is probably preferable. In addition, the tips of touchscreen gloves are not sensitive enough or do not have a large enough surface area for stable operation.
