I immediately sent it back and bought a 20 ounce Estwing Hammer with a leather handle. I love it! It was worth the extra cost and the balance is great.

I needed a hammer and was glad to see that Craftsman is still in business, although I fear for the future of Sears (does Sears still own them?) This hammer screams longevity and reliability. I have a feeling that like most handyman tools I've collected over the years, it will be in my toolbox long after I've used it.
