The stew itself is 5 stars but I'm having trouble with the one I have. The shaft sent to me had a few scratches on the outside of the cap and a few spots of rust on the rim. I suspect the scratches came from the lid, which was packaged upside down and made contact with the edge of the grill, which was quite rough. There should be a piece of cardboard between them. Although I have not yet used the 3.5 liter fryer I am very happy. I currently have the 2.25 qt version, 26cm, which I really like. The 30cm block is a little larger than expected, but not too much.
