Good, but doesn't work with insulated crimp connectors.

I have yet to select a pliers set or crimp tool for crimp connections. The best automotive/motorcycle connections use insulators that don't work well with most crimping tools.

Great tool for home use.

This works just as well as a $50 tool sold at major hardware stores. But like any tool, it takes a bit of practice - play around with the ends of the wires with extra connectors (they're cheap) and you'll get the hang of it in just a few crimps. :)

Cannot be used without major reworking

Crimping inserts were badly misaligned. The item was found unusable and promptly returned. The photo shows the instrument fully compressed, and note that the engagement of the large matrix stops the smaller ones from closing. It could probably be made to work at a mill for a while.

Fits Molex Mini Fit Jr

Finally a crimping tool that fits (for me) Molex Mini Fit Jr pins. The most common pins in my life. PC, ATX, etc. A good crimp requires two crimps, but it looks good and the crimp is strong! I do crimp 1 at the end, on the part that holds the wire. I then move the pin into the smaller hole and move it around a bit to crimp the actual wire/cable into the pin. The more I do, the better I get. Highly recommended!

These pliers work very well, much better than the standard pliers I've used.

I use them to crimp open cylindrical contacts for automotive installations. They are easy to use and do their job really well. I have great control over how hard I want to crimp the terminal (it's important not to bend the terminal while crimping) so I can still insert it into the connector. Very inexpensive compared to many other crimping tools, I can only recommend it.

Makes wiring stranded end connectors a breeze!

They're great for the price and definitely worth it! I have a pup who chewed through most of the wiring to my adjustable temperature pedic, and instead of paying big bucks to replace the OEM wiring, I decided to order the same 5-wire cable and attach the clamps myself .
