We were very happy about this article because we fought several times against a raccoon that was rummaging through our rubbish. We've tried backlighting, strong smells, and even weights on the lid, and it still managed to make it into our trash. A nice solution that would be great with a bit of quality. My two black straps came out of the 'teeth' and when I put them back in now they no longer 'stick' to the teeth. Looks like the end that should be hooked/tucked in isn't thick enough. I barely pulled the thing and it happened after only 3 uses on one side and the other side soon followed.
