No bulky roll at the front of the knee, but feels as supportive!

I had a knee swell up badly two weeks before we were booked on an Alaskan cruise. Our chiro assured me it would be fine by the time of the cruise, but suggested a patella support strap. I ordered this and the brand recommended by the chiro. I found that brand felt good, but it had a bulky silicone cylinder in front so only worked with shorts, and the velcro strap tended to curl back at the tip, making it easy to snag things (or each other, if wearing on both knees) and pull off. If wearing for long duration, protect your skin from friction burn/blistering

I wore these patella straps for over 12 hours. I didn't have a single issue with my knees. The issue was when I peeled the straps off and discovered skin irritation and subsequent blisters caused from friction.Advice: either take breaks from the straps or put a protective layer of something between the strap and your skin for longer wearing.Otherwise. excellent straps.

Worked as advertised and very comfortable. Washing them can be an issue if you do not secure the velcro. Highly recommend.

Great very tight yet comfortable strap for patellar tendon support

Wow! This things better than any velcro patellar straps I have tried. The front velcro means that the back of your knee has a softer material on it and allows you to tighten the straps a lot more. The other velcro based straps have two velcro at the back which when tighten rub agains the back of the knee. Tightening this strap also allows for fantastic support on the tendon and I felt the effect immediately. This also keeps its tightness when playing or running unlit others. I strongly…
