Great durable wood marking tool for .

Great solid wood marking tool for dovetail making. I've been using it since I bought it and it's one of my most used tools.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Useless features

Works well for lettering

Took a while to use but did a good job. At first it was quite stiff and difficult to install but I worked on it and waxed it and it loosened up so I could adjust it properly.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Safety

Good Cheap Scriber

Good inexpensive scriber. The needle is very sharp. Note that this is a marking gauge, not a cutting gauge. The fit and finish is very good. I never liked the plastic screw, what do you want? It's cheap and does the job.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Alles Klar

Wanted to be liked. good for measuring and marking tools

I went into this screw knowing it's plastic which suits me. However, I was very disappointed with this tool because the bar is too loose in the head. Otherwise it would be a very good device in this price range. So I make a new bun and use a pin.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works well after tuning

The nail should be sharpened first and maybe reduce the friction on the wood a bit. (Use oil, wax, etc.) Looks neat and works well. If that's what you want, I would choose another Japanese brand listed on Revain for the same price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative impression

A good marker for everyday use

I am very satisfied with the Crown 135 marker. I love the beech wood structure, it feels solid and functional. It arrived as expected and I just want Crown Tools to replace the plastic screw with a brass screw. I definitely recommend this thermometer.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are nuances

Best tool for $12 in my store

For less than twelve dollars this is a great tool. So far I've used it to mark all my rip, cross cut and resaw marks on 10ft 8/4 cherry for the table I'm making and it's square and sturdy. The needle is very sharp. You can spend more on a rosewood and brass gauge to make it look spectacular on YouTube, or for your grandchildren to install in an Applebee after you die, or you can get that beechwood number and spend your money on other tools that keep doing it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Big and bulky
