🖤 Black Slim Rim License Plate Frame: Cruiser Accessories 21350 Review

I don't normally use the license plate frames that come with my car - they are meant to advertise a car dealership and are usually too big for just sticking the year badge on without peeling it off to mount. I just wanted a nice, understated, thin license plate bezel with some shine, and that's about it. I took her to the last two cars. They look good and are very affordable.

Plate frame - top. Was looking for one to surround the plate but didn't read the reviews. This is an overlay and the plate just sticks out (see fig.). We'll look for another one. I also have a Washington plate but the fit was acceptable. My complaint is that after 6 months the "chrome" finish was already covered in rust and rust! I have ordered several of these frames. They were delivered quickly and of good quality, but they were too small to fit all standard size plates. Standard license plates are 12" x 6" on the outside and these frames are also 12" x 6" on the outside. The inner frame measures only 11-1/2" x 5-3/8" and when used with standard license plates, the frames must fit over the front of the license plate, which is ugly. The slim dimensions of this rim complement upscale cars with chrome inserts, but are not overpowering. Only gave 4 stars because in northern climates the salt takes its toll after about 2 years. I bought this to frame a number plate that attached to my car's front number plate holder which holds the number plate in a slightly recessed position. The typical license plate frames did not fit because the car's mount had a ridge surrounding the license plate. First, deal with complaints about the size. Using my tape measure, this frame measures 12 3/16 inches by 6 inches. My Massachusetts plate is 12 3/16 by 6 1/8 inches. As already mentioned, this frame is on the plate. I pay a lot of attention to how my car looks and I've never noticed a panel that sticks out 1/16" top/bottom and a bit on the side because it wasn't perfectly flat. Not much to say about the license plate bezel but this one is good. I wanted a nice chrome frame that didn't look thick and wouldn't cover up the registration decals like many other frames do. I glued two of these onto my '68 Pontiac Tempest. The rear panel is built into the huge chrome rear bumper and that panel frame looks great.
