This is exactly what I needed and exactly what I expected based on the description. I needed jars small enough to fit four of them on a wire shelf in the pantry attached to the door. They fit well and they are snug enough for the stuff I put in them. I'm moving to buy more bulk (unpackaged) products. Since I usually only cook for two people and therefore don't need large quantities of most foods, these glasses are just the right size. I plan to buy more.

These jars look like little peanut butter jars. They're a great size for kids and are more likely to bend than break. Standard sized mason jar lids will fit, but they are not airtight, the threads are slippery so cannot be tightened securely. Take the warning seriously; They are NOT dishwasher safe. After only a few washes, the bottom has bulged so the glasses are more likely to tip than stand on the counter. They are no longer suitable for drinking jugs, but we will find another use for them.

I installed a small hydration station in my room and they fit perfectly, hold plenty of water and make it easy to refill the water filter pitcher. They are also easy to grab. I've dropped them a few times and they're still in good condition.
