🔧 CTA Tools 1710 10mm Deep Socket Review

This worked great on my car! Great price considering it uses other tools out there. This fits with no problems. That made the task easier.

Very deep nut. Bought for a specific purpose but not used yet but it is 10mm. I saw a review that said it didn't fit properly. I tried it on a 10mm cap screw and it fits snugly and it's pretty good quality.

Purchased for valve cover work on my N54 (had to strip a long threaded rod and remove the bracket on the ignition coil ground wire) Worked great for the job and saved a lot of time. I recommend for this type of work.

Works great. It reaches nuts without extension and reaches long bolts for nut removal. Things like the battery tie are often too long to get to the nut without a wrench, it can get to the nut and I can unscrew it with my electric ratchet. I use it every day as a professional mechanic.

I only got this to replace a rocker cover that needed a deep head with a full 8mm dia full bore and that works great. You can go 8.12mm end to end and that is more than enough to properly seat the full engagement ratchet bolt. No drilling, no frills, but a bit pricey for a single socket. On the other hand I saved a ton of money on dealer work I didn't have to pay for and got 10mm more next time.
