It's really easy to use and understand the condition of your battery and it won't go dead after a very, very long time. The slowly flashing LED has consumed almost no power over time. So you can wisely leave it plugged in to keep up to date with battery health.

Adapts SAE to CTEK allowing you to use your existing SAE battery connector (e.g. other brand battery connector) with the CTEK charger. The indicator light flashes a single color (red, amber, or green) about once per second (quick flash, presumably to avoid draining much battery power when used as an indicator). All round good quality.

I bought a used Harley Davidson and I could see the previous owner used a battery tender to keep the battery charged because under the bike a wiring harness hung. Not sure if CTEK changed their connector ends or not but it doesn't fit my CTEK Multi US 3300. It fits the SAE fine -side (battery type). batteries), but is not suitable for connecting the CTEK charger. My CTEK has a rounded connector and a square connector, and this adapter has two rounded ends. I should have studied it a bit more. With SAE on one side, connected to the motorcycle charging cable I installed earlier. LED indicators show voltage, although this is not documented. I was expecting that the little cap on top of the LED bracket would also support the SAE connector so my charger could connect to this cable. But it was for some other manufacturer specific things. I really like this CTEK battery level LED indicator. You can see at a glance whether the battery level is good (green), slightly discharged (amber) or needs to be charged (red). I really needed this to have two CTEK connectors so I could use it with chargers and power strips. Since it's not available that way, I made one (see picture).
