Didn't consider special vehicles

Same problem as most of the other negative reviews. The up direction works, but the down direction stopped working after just a few months.

Cons
  • Nothing here

Wife loves it (and so do I).

Our old electric opener has lasted for several years but never opened more than 10 bottles of wine on a single charge (if ever). We tested this one and stopped counting at over 20. Very good quality and great torque.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • No insurance

Product not least, poor customer service.

I have bought 3 of these units in about two years. They break in a very short time. The latter stopped working in less than two months. It's too late to return. Cuisinart will only replace the item if I pay for shipping both ways. It's not worth it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Stops working after 2 uses.

I used to have electric corkscrews and liked them. I was shocked when I rec'd that. I've used it twice and it was easy to use BUT on the third use it ate the cork off a good bottle of wine and just stopped working. It was charging so I don't understand what the problem is. Don't sell a product that just doesn't work.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Useless features

Makes life easier

My wife had trouble opening wine bottles with a regular corkscrew so I bought her this for Christmas. She loves it and so do I because I no longer have to open her wine. It's always charged and ready to go. She holds it on top of the wine bottle, presses the button and "pops". She found that the cutter didn't work on bottles with screw caps.

Great gift, best of the electric wine bottle openers

This was the perfect gift for two of my shopping lists. As one of them was throwing a Christmas party, Revane delivered this quickly so it would be available for the party. It was very helpful because it was a wine tasting. There was a lot of bragging about the wine opener and all the boys asked where it came from. Being wireless was one of its great qualities. Will be buying this again next year for other people on the shopping list.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Only opens 10 bottles in a single batch like all others sold!

Bought for woman, she can no longer use fenders and levers due to arthritis in her hands. The description provided opens up to 80 bottles, so I figured Cuisinart had invested in a better battery or more torque. It opens at 10am before stalling with the cork half out of the bottle. Nicely done but very important how wide it opens and the descriptive information is completely wrong. I suggest they remove 80 and replace with open 10 bottles before a new load is required.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Never let go of a cork

I bought this product because I trust CuisineArt. The instructions are very simple. The first time I used it, I followed the instructions by placing a corkscrew on a wine bottle and pressing the down button to pop the cork out of the bottle. This part was easy. However, after removing the cork from the bottle, I pressed the 'open' button to release the cork from the corkscrew and the cork just twisted and twirled. I had to remove the cork manually with pliers. I gave it a second chance using a…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
