The perfect size for us!

I wanted something bigger to make cake batter and it's fantastic. Not just because of the pie crust, but if you knew how much I hate making pie crust, you would understand my excitement. I used to have an 11 cup Cuisinart which I loved but it was too big for both of us and the size of this kitchen and these little guys are cute but not big enough for what I need. It rocks!

furious! leaks on liquids

Just used it for processing pomegranate seeds for the first time. The bowl was only 1/3 full of seeds, but the liquid rose up the sides of the bowl and spilled all over the top. There doesn't seem to be a seal between the bowl and the lid. Ridiculous! Purchased for this very purpose after the bowl of my 25 year old Kitchenaid stand mixer cracked. I'm angry about it! Waste of money for the processor, grenades and a terrible mess on the counter. What good is a food processor that cannot process…

Really powerful food processor

My 25 year old model of this size and type died after many years of excellent service. This is a HUGE improvement over something that really didn't need improvement! It's heavier and mixes meat and veg much faster for my dog's food. I use my food processor often - I blend up to 40 pounds of meat with veggies and additives each month. I had no idea how much my car was slowing down until I did my first batch with the new one. Took half the time. And the new lid for this type of work is much…

Cuisinart DLC-10SY Easy Winner Over FP-8SV

This is my second DLC-10, now DLC-10SY (7 cups). My last gave me such good value 15 years before the shells cracked. The cost of a shell set is almost the same as the cost of a new one, so it's a no-brainer. Now I have spare blades, a knife. I've compared this to the Cuisinart FP-8SV which is an 8 cup unit but really no comparison. The 8 seems weak and cheap compared to the 10. The 10 has a much more powerful (and heavier) motor and is covered by a much longer warranty. Importantly, the 10's…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

Not only do I like this product, but so does my better half. I bought her in June 2016 as she loves to stock up on lots of veggies during the week. She mentioned that a food processor would probably come in handy someday, so I did a little research, liked the reviews, and picked up the Cuisinart DLC-10SY. It was a good size for what she wanted to do and for the extra blades/accessories available. I have completed a set of 9 blades, a blade and disc holder and 2 holders for 3 discs. I labeled…

many things contributed to my hatred of this car.

I thought it would be good for me and small jobs, since there are only two of us I was glad to get it. After the first try I hate it and am going back. At first I didn't like the pusher combo, it doesn't disassemble for cleaning, and I later saw this as a potential problem, but the first thing I put in it was a small amount of bread rolls, 1 1/4 cups flour, not a heavy one either Dough, I put the spatula down and started getting excited, then the car bounced all over the place and I had to hold

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

  • Almost everything is there

Possibly the best intermediate available. . .

I have been using this food processor every other day since I bought it 5 weeks ago. Pros: The engine seems to be a strong feature of this 'medium' performance 7cc processor. It's 7-8 cups heavier than other processors and I like that feature. The controls are as simple as it gets. Its appearance is optional. I found the unit relatively easy to clean. Cons: I have 2 main issues with the device. Its actual working capacity is 3 to 3 1/2 cups. Thicker preparations can increase its capacity up to…

Just used this blender for the first time. I made a 1/3 cup garlic herb dressing that turned out fantastic. After watching a few videos of this blender, I fixed the lid, fired the blade, and tossed and processed first a clove of garlic, then 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley, and then 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves through a small serving tube. I then drizzled with lemon juice and then olive oil through a small masher. Like my old blenders, Cuisinart sent garlic, parsley, and thyme leaves to the…
