High quality and simple multicooker.

A simple but effective multi-cooker. I was looking for a simple multi cooker on the market. I looked at countless models, including the more expensive Cuisinart and Braville. Most of them had more features than I needed such as: Braising and/or steaming, and a whole range of settings. Ultimately, I chose this model for two reasons: simplicity and a potsherd. I don't like or use non-stick coating as it tends to wear and peel even with very good care. I also prefer the clay pot as it retains heat

This item is not durable

I had 2 of these. The first (since 2012) lasted about 5 years. The second (since 2017) is almost 4 years old. We bought a second one because we were generally happy and thought the failure of the first was an accident. We use this slow cooker about every two weeks, so it doesn't get overused. After about 3.5 years, the device no longer cooks. He will warm things but not cook them. 10 hours and still crispy peas. You will get an image. The repair is very expensive, you can buy a new one. We…

Too many design flaws

I really wanted this multi-cooker to be the ONLY one. It got to the point that I returned the first defective oven for another. Two brand new multicookers with defects straight out of the box, never used. Both returned. My first stove had a sharp blister on the bottom of the ceramic pan. I know that over time it will crack and expose the material underneath the glazed surface of the pot. My second multi cooker lid that I bought didn't fit properly. I added photos. If you put the lid on the pot…

Doesn't reach temperature, so won't cook food

In a world where we have so many slow cookers cooking our food to death, this one struggles with others not to cook anything. Pleasant look made of brushed stainless steel, spacious pan, durable carrying handles, precise setting of time and temperature. Also a unique 'simmer' setting that is slightly lower than 'low'. Not bad. Here's the part where I don't recommend it: 1) I had the chef work overnight and completely shut it down for no apparent reason. Cold food in the morning doesn't make me…

Slow cooker with an almost perfect design

This appliance works great and if you are worried about some reviewers' comments about failing too quickly I suggest you also purchase the 4 year guarantee. for $11.99, then who pays to repair or replace the unit if it fails for any reason! I've had several other slow cookers including several slow cookers (including the new iStir model) and all of them didn't support the "Heat" setting to keep the food from overcooking. I tested this unit and it stabilized at 198°F on High and more importantly

The best multi cooker I've ever had.

Excellent multi-cooker. I'm an avid cook and cook almost everything in my slow cooker, even breakfast. I've had many brands of slow cookers and used them until they just wouldn't work. The last slow cooker I replaced was an old rival that lasted 11 years. After a retirement that brought me back into the multicooker market, I was blown away by all the new and updated features available. I wanted a programmable model as I cook most of the night. In some of the negative reviews on this model, as…
