Buyers beware of small appliances

This is a family hit! Update: This is a hit with kids as they love fresh waffles in the morning BUT I'm deducting 4 stars because it's only been a few months and the inner lining you pour the batter into is already coming off. and no, i never dropped it. I usually wipe it down with a damp cloth and mostly set it to 3 or 4. I'm a culinary freak but not sure if this is a real culinary product at the moment.

The perfect waffle iron!

Perfect wafers from the first use. NO sticking, no messy cleaning. I see some people complaining about being held. just add 1-2 tablespoons of butter to the dough and you're done! After finally having to give up my 28 year old waffle maker (which was PERFECT) I couldn't decide - how to replace what I had for so long. This waffle is so good I will never look back and miss my old waffles!

A good device, but the design of the stand is not perfect

Waffles are good, rather hard than crispy. Easy to clean. Well designed and attractive. Waffle pockets are flat, 1/4 inch, not exactly Belgian. The two large open flaps on the back are part of the storage compartment. These pins are a continuation of the heating mesh, they heat up in the same way as the mesh itself. It's easy to accidentally touch them or worse, grab them while the mesh is hot, causing painful burns.

Best waffle maker yet

Works very well and has a durable aesthetic design. After all, the waffle iron is neither made of plastic nor too bulky. Also, I LOVE that it has a comparatively minimalist design which not only makes it look more attractive but there aren't too many bulky crevices to clean up when the batter overflows. The waffle maker has removable plates for easier cleaning, even deeper waffle pockets and absolutely no plastic on it because I just hate all plastic.

Good form, bad function

This waffle maker looked very durable, was as easy to clean as any solid waffle maker and was easy to use. The only problem was that his performance was very poor. Got this to replace my trusty but large and bulky 10 year old Waring Pro waffle maker. Initially I had high hopes for Cuisinart - it was nice and strong, made thick waffles and was from a trusted manufacturer. However, after trying many waffle recipes, I returned them. The main problems were 1: the center of the waffle was burned and

Works great, makes great waffles, easy to clean.

On a new diet that's tantamount to lots of waffles for Weight Watchers. This is the third waffle maker I've tried and by far the best and largest. The mix I use is thinner than the regular waffle mix which = is messier. I first tried a cheap multipurpose waffle maker we've had for years that didn't mix well / didn't know when it was done so each half was stuck to each side and ripped open when opened (first pic). Then I bought a cheap crib at a local store for $30. Cooked perfectly, made a huge

Add a line here from Shrek Donkey

I've been using this waffle maker for a few weeks now and it works great. Very easy to use and my waffles turned out amazing. The device has a high-quality finish and looks good in the kitchen. In fact, there are no hidden spots for the batter to spill out if it overflows, making it very easy to clean. When the device is off and closed you can set it up and store it upright, although there is no latch to keep the lid closed but that's not a problem. Note: If using the Krusteaz waffle mix, the…
