Description of Cupramine 500 ML Fl Oz

EFFECTIVE: Cupramine effectively eradicates Oodinium, Cryptocaryon, Amyloodinium, Ichthyophthirius, and other ectoparasites of both freshwater aquariums and saltwater fish. SUPERIOR: Cupramine is superior to copper sulfate and chloride, it is non-acidic, less toxic to fish, remains in solution, and does not contaminate the filter bed. TREATMENT: Cupramine effectively treats a variety of ectoparasites of both freshwater and marine fish. Some of the most common infections treatable with Cupramine include Ich (White Spot) and Velvet. BEFORE TREATING: Remove all invertebrates as they are extremely sensitive to copper and will not tolerate treatment with a copper-based medication. Do not use any other medications or any products which contain reducing agents (conditioners, ammonia, binders, etc.) while using Cupramine. AFTER TREATING: Cupramine can be removed using carbon or CupriSorb. Leave the copper-absorbing media in your tank for at least a week after the copper concentration has reached 0.

This is my first timer.

Just read the review of this product and decide to give it a try. I don't know exactly how it works yet. I'm insulating my tank right now, so I don't have a result yet. But there's no harm in trying. Make sure not all your corals and invertebrates are in the same tank when using it.

Pros
  • TREATMENT: Cupramine effectively treats various ectoparasites in freshwater and marine fish. Some of the more common infections treated with cupramine are Ich (white spot) and Velvet.
