Timer lighting works great. Slow sunrise and sunset is just what we wanted. The sound and lighting are a nice touch. Lighting and sounds on demand work great. In general this is a good product. The only drawback is the programming/documentation. We had trouble adding sound and backlighting to the timer features. I can't get the backlight to work with a timer.

great product! Optimize the entire aquarium and definitely make your aquarium more than just a glass aquarium! The colors are amazing! The tone selection is perfect and the lighting effects are as good as any light I've used before! It grows the plants in my tank pretty well and makes my tank the center of attention every time someone comes by my house! It was easy to set up and program! Highly recommended!

Sweet lights. My only disappointment is that the backlight and main light don't work together. It would be cool if it worked like a real sunrise and sunset. During the day the speakers are cool and then the cooling factor decreases. The timer function is also just ok. I am still working on it. The red light seems to be on all night and I wish it would just go off eventually, but that could be user error. Overall this is a super good set and I am very happy with the purchase.

I bought a Serene LED kit for my 36 gallon bonsai aquarium. I like the effect the light adds to the background. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks incredible in low light. The sound effects are also very well done and the speakers are of good quality and I haven't had any problems in 3 months of use. I don't use lights as the plants respond very well to Fluval 3.0 and I'm hesitant to change it. In any case, I highly recommend this set, you won't regret it.

I had another flashlight similar to this one but no light. It was great - but died after 3.5 years. I just bought this one and love it. I wish there was a speakerless option as I really won't be using them. But this lighting system is great. During the day I like natural light. I'm not a fan of neon tanks. Used in a 32 gallon planted aquarium. There aren't many light color options to choose from. Most programs change smoothly from light to dark. Night vision mode is not ideal for a 24 inch flashlight. Might be better if used on a longer tank. During the day the lights seem to get warm and the speakers make an awful buzz when not in use. Now for the good parts. Loved the system when it was first installed. (Bought in February) The timer worked pretty well the week before last. The 24-hour sunrise and moon setting ran on program b. In the morning we went downstairs and the light and sound were turned off. Turned on manually and performed a system reset. The timer still doesn't work. Trying to contact support since last week. Love the look of the light. I don't use speakers at all. The ceiling light gets very hot. Minimal programming required. That makes us a little sad when it comes to features and functionality. Lots of features that you have to view with the remote and then keep working until you decide to restart the timer. Rear light and top light do not work together.
