CURT 23082 Universal Tri Ball Trailer Review

We chose this for our car transporter when parked in the driveway so it can't be stolen. It's a perfect lock and impossible to take off. They could have tried to cut the plastic ball but couldn't because it's inside the receiver on the trailer and the pin that goes through the clip is so thick it's almost impossible to clip it with bolt cutters cut. Also, I can use this with different trailers and receiver sizes.

Got this for my hubs to jam his sweat tag. He seems content. He said he likes Tribol and is easy to put on and take off. He said he wasn't entirely sure about the plastic but thinks it's pretty durable and will hold up well. He said it wouldn't make stealing impossible, but it would make it very inconvenient. :) I guess you don't really make stealing impossible, but the more someone has to work at it, the less likely they are to try. An affordable deterrent and ultimately a good buy.
