Plastic buckle problem

Used as a frame for the house for about a week. So far the straps seem good enough but the plastic buckle sucks. The design of the buckle seems to be quite good, the problem is the cheap plastic it's made of. Every time I bend down to pick something up, the buckle comes undone and my bags of nails fall to the ground or something. Get another old belt like this with the same buckle made from a much stronger plastic that never had a problem. Had to spend a little more money for a better belt…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not reliable

Great value for money

This is a cheap belt but well made at a low price. Tight strap material so it doesn't fit your body. It easily fits a waist size of 36 inches or smaller. For a 40 inch waist I would look elsewhere. In this type of belt, about 7 inches is occupied by the buckle and belt clip. $11 is a 4-inch WXJ13 plastic buckle, 2-inch flat side buckles and single coil triglides, 5 yards, 2-inch PP webbing that has enough for two straps and comes with a 15-foot Webbing fits any waist.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Reliability

Great belt for what I bought it for. I'm not sure about the tool belt.

Bought this for a Halloween costume NOT for hard work. Seems strong enough that the material doesn't rip or tear, but the buckles are a bit missing. They're made of hard plastic, so while they're strong and won't fall apart when I press my plump butt against the belt, I'm concerned that it might break after a while due to the heavy fastenings. The quality is good enough for what I want that I feel like what I paid was worth it. However, if you're looking for something that will last over 30…

Good Price - Tool Straps

I first bought this strap about two years ago. I didn't write a review at the time, but now that I've just ordered a second strap for a different holster, I thought the time had run out. OK: I ordered this based on the fact that it is 2 inches wide. As you can see in the photo, I have an old Safariland holster from around 1985. It was part of my 2 1/4" thick leather Sam Brown belt (as well as the holster and case). The belt has long since gone into "mode". I'll never wear it today (retired)". I

Updated rating from junk to ok

May 2021 - Clasp won't stay on. Appears to be built wrong. The plastic teeth on the end of the buckle do not fully fit into the clasp. The belt falls off with the slightest movement and I only have a treat bag on. I contacted the seller over a month ago instead of giving a bad review right away. They promised to send a replacement. A few weeks later I contacted them again and they told me the item was on hold and expected by the end of the month. I haven't heard anything else - I'm waiting…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

So so. Wouldn't buy again

It was (was) on sale for $3 with free shipping when I ordered it. For three bucks I'm not that disappointed to return it but I definitely won't be ordering again. It's exactly as described, the straps are VERY stiff (e.g. prevent it) and heavy in the hand. There are no questions about the actual build quality. However, the buckle is uncomfortable and problematic. Due to the design and materials used, the adjustable side pops out a bit and somehow manages to catch *everything*. I also climb…

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Some problems
