This is a cheap belt but well made at a low price. Tight strap material so it doesn't fit your body. It easily fits a waist size of 36 inches or smaller. For a 40 inch waist I would look elsewhere. In this type of belt, about 7 inches is occupied by the buckle and belt clip. $11 is a 4-inch WXJ13 plastic buckle, 2-inch flat side buckles and single coil triglides, 5 yards, 2-inch PP webbing that has enough for two straps and comes with a 15-foot Webbing fits any waist.

Bought this for a Halloween costume NOT for hard work. Seems strong enough that the material doesn't rip or tear, but the buckles are a bit missing. I first bought this strap about two years ago. I didn't write a review at the time, but now that I've just ordered a second strap for a different holster, I thought the time had run out. OK: I ordered this based on the fact that it is 2 inches wide. As you can see in the photo, I have an old Safariland holster from around 1985. May 2021 - Clasp won't stay on. Appears to be built wrong. The plastic teeth on the end of the buckle do not fully fit into the clasp. The belt falls off with the slightest movement and I only have a treat bag on. I contacted the seller over a month ago instead of giving a bad review right away. They promised to send a replacement. It was (was) on sale for $3 with free shipping when I ordered it. For three bucks I'm not that disappointed to return it but I definitely won't be ordering again. It's exactly as described, the straps are VERY stiff (e.g. prevent it) and heavy in the hand. There are no questions about the actual build quality.
