As an industrial and scientific user, I was impressed with the accuracy and ease of use of this cutting caliper. Based on my experience, it is one of the most precise measuring tools for dimensional measurement in the Measure & Inspect category. The caliper's Whitworth measurement system provides reliable and efficient measurements. However, this tool is not very versatile and is limited in its use. Nonetheless, it's a great addition to any precision workshop.

Yes, almost all yarn sizes/types used can be measured in this way. But that's part of the problem - the markings on the many, many sensors involved are sometimes hard to read or don't make sense because they aren't labeled with units. So it basically makes sense to apply to the fastener and then to what you think should fit when it really does fit. Not very helpful when trying to measure a bolt where you expect to be able to read the gauge and order what you need.

After a month of use, this product is fine. However, I have a feeling these gauges will not last long over time. As you can see from the stock photos, the gauges branch well and have more than enough teeth to measure screw pitch, but the axles are plastic knurled and mine is already "stretched" and not tightening anymore , which loosens the fans that pop up on the go.
