Good price but manufacturer consistency may not be very good

I installed this on my Kubota tiller and found that the 1" base tube was not welded symmetrically to the base. This made it impossible for the cylinder to oscillate within the rails. I used a grinder and cutting wheel to trim the outside which helped but thinned the outside edge of the base. I don't expect a leak at any point, but I'm not very happy with the mod. Now it works fine and it was the best option for the price I found.

Pros
  • Hole diameter: 3"
Cons
  • Slightly torn

But when I tried the second, I felt the inside of the fork peeling off. I ended up having to take the cylinder to a workshop just to get the shipping plug out! The mechanic had to drive in the next size hex screwdriver and use an impact wrench to finally get free! There is no reason why the shipping

Pros

  • Big and bulky

Replacement of hydraulic cylinders. Crossbar Type

I have a 1955 Ford 600 tractor with an old Wagner front loader attachment. The problem I had was that the loader boom cylinders were leaking and I got tired of cleaning them as oil was leaking. I took the cylinders to a local hydraulic repair company to have them resealed and they told me it would cost at least $300 per cylinder to reseale, but that only applies to new seals, if anything something else is needed, the cost will increase from there. Well I decided to look around and try to find…

Pros
  • Retracted: 32"
Cons
  • Not sure
