Description of 🔥 DampRid Moisture Absorber 4 lb. Hi-Capacity Bucket - Ultimate Solution for Optimal Air Quality in Spacious Areas, Fresh Scent, 128 oz (Pack of 1)

DampRid Hi-Capacity Moisture Absorber Bucket attracts and traps excess moisture, eliminating musty odors from damp areas. The hi-capacity design features a unique Moisture Lock spill resistor technology with a sealed safety cover for a mess free solution. Ideal for larger spaces like basements, garages, where stagnant air and excess moisture is a problem. Each of the 4 lb. Discard once the moisture absorbing crystals have fully dissolved.

Be patient; they work

This winter I've been experimenting with these DampRid buckets along with Pure & Safe White silica gel desiccant balls to absorb moisture in my bearings. The DamRid buckets worked well. Place them deep in storage, not on top of drawers in storage. (As far as I could tell, the desiccant balls didn't absorb moisture.) Tip: buckets take at least 3 weeks to become heavy with moisture. . I will change the buckets in my storages as long as my stuff is in storage.

Helped my soaked car after a water accident

I had a jug of filtered water in the back of my car that I had to take to my apartment. I forgot and picked up a friend from the airport. She threw her suitcase in the back seat of my car and it easily punctured the jug. I didn't notice because it was a slow leak and her luggage didn't get wet and the next time I got in the car all the windows were fogged up. After a few days it started to smell. GALLONS of water were poured out. I bought this product and left it in my car for a few days and…

That's great! They really collect moisture!

Love DampRid products! I use them in every room in my basement and it's amazing how much moisture they absorb even with my dehumidifier running! HI-Capacity are great for large areas and typically last around 6 months before being filled. I use smaller sizes for closets. You definitely need a large size for your RV or boat for winter storage. They really help against musty smells! They are very easy to use; Just remove the lid and place them where you need them. That's all! There is an…

They work but are limited in their use

They are about as easy to use as a dehumidifier can get and do what they say they do. If you buy something to dehumidify, you probably need a humidity level below 60%. . This is one of the main limitations. At 60% they start to work. That means the wet area stays wet, but they help keep humidity down. If you have access to electricity an electrical device will surely outperform them, but if that's all you can use they will help. Here are a few pros and cons I found: Pros: - Quick and easy to…
