I didn't expect to have to connect the plug to the lamp. I was a bit nervous about the build for a few days until I decided to just give it a try. It wasn't as difficult as I expected. It was a hit and looks great on the wall.

Well if you are looking for gold sconces and are not trying to spend the $120 minimum, they far exceed their cash value. You look great! I was expecting "you get what you pay for" but that's not the case and it far exceeded my expectations! You can insert or plug in the supplied dowels. Worth more than the list price!

These wall lights are great, especially when used with an LED bulb. Installation is very easy, it only took 15 minutes for both lamps. The company sent a sconce that didn't work, but they immediately sent a replacement AND included a handwritten note apologizing for the inconvenience. Seriously, the best customer service I've ever experienced when shopping online. Couldn't be happier!

Pros: They look good and the finishes are decent for the price. CONS: Nuts that should go forward are silver and not fully covered with a gold cap. If you are a perfectionist, this will bother you greatly. and without nuts, the sconce has too much play. I bought these for our lake house that doubles as a vacation rental. The price on these was fantastic for a set of two. They were easy to install. We used a mains plug for the installation (you can also make a solid wire if you prefer) because I didn't want to connect them to a solid wire. We installed them in under an hour and they look great.
