I can usually tolerate residual chemical smells - but the smell of these foam sheets is very strong. I let them sit for about 2 weeks to air and disperse, but I still get sick of the smell every time I get near them. Finally I gave up; it's just more effort than it's worth. The sheets are optically ok. The thickness is good - do not hang around. Although the interface is not perfect. They don't have major dents or ridges, but most bed sheets have scratches or stains, much like a piece of velvet

This foam has become my favorite for cosplay. It easily absorbs heat and keeps its shape without problems, it cuts and shreds very well. I'm really happy that the stickers are now only held on with a small plastic clip instead of being glued on - which used to be a real letdown! It is extremely susceptible to most cyanoacrylate superglues as well as high-temperature hot melt glue. I've also used it with Barge Contact Cement and it's a strong bond too!
