    That does not work! for puller

    You get what you pay for. This is a cheap tool. It wouldn't work at all due to the lack of raised grip material on the fingertips. You insert a tool and tighten the center screw to expand the pins in the center of the pilot bearing. The outside edge of the pins has a small protrusion designed to grip the inside top edge of the pilot bearing so it can be hammered out. The protrusion is not pronounced enough to be hooked, so the tool is pulled out without removing the guide bearing.

    Worked great getting the pilot bearing out on a TJ 4.0 Jeep

    All those people who like to stuff flywheels with bread or grease to remove pilot bearings could use this tool instead. I got the job done in 5 minutes and that's just figuring out how the tool works and what wrench sizes are needed to tighten. Someone on YouTube had a good idea on how to install a new bearing using a steering wheel puller. All I had to do was install a couple of 3"1/2" studs on 20 to hold it in place on the flywheel when installing the new bearing.

    Had trouble holding the small puller sleeve

    Had trouble holding the ejector sleeve in a Nissan Xterra that I bought specifically for use as all other types of pullers were too big for the tiny Nissan, thought an ejector sleeve that size was a good idea. I believe Toyota uses the same size bushings, which might be helpful for those owners as well. The part of the smallest puller that touches the back edge of the bushings is not long enough to get a good grip on the bushing and instead has slipped out multiple times. ruins the socket. At…
