DaVinci Charlie 3-Drawer Dresser in White - 35x20x34 Inch (Single Pack) Review

This cot is very, very nice. Took me about two hours to assemble and only needed a little help from my wife to hold the mattress frame while I rolled it up. The rest of the crib is perfect and I love the fact that it will grow. with my daughter when she grows up. For those who want to know, it comes in a very large box. About six feet long, 324 feet wide and about a foot deep.

For goodness sake please place this crib in the room it is in before assembling it! My husband and I got too excited and decided to put it together in our living room and we had to quickly reassemble it when we realized it wouldn't fit through the nursery door. Two people are required for assembly. One to hold things and the other to stuff things in the right places. Very cute and well done for my baby!

I have just assembled the dresser and cot, this is the second set we have from DaVinci and I have to say it is of a much lower quality. The boxes and the distance between them do not match, and the handles and wood had imperfections and scratches. Wouldn't buy again. The crib was also damaged during production as there is a crack where they inserted one of the nails. The paint does not spread everywhere either, there are scuffs and scratches.

I tried rearranging the drawers to see if the other one would fit. . . .Bad luck! After doing all the research to find the best brand of crib I decided to order this one and was very disappointed. I opened the box and found that one of the pieces had a dent in the wood. It wasn't terrible and I figured I could handle it as it would be tucked away in a corner. I started assembling the crib and found that all the screw threads were covered in paint making it very difficult to insert the screws. You can assemble this chest of drawers! First I decided to buy it and looked at the reviews. In step 2 of the assembly, the reviews seem to have come true. There was a lot of cursing and disappointment because of the plastic parts on the screws. The screws went in and just turned. In Step 2 of 15, we wanted to throw this thing away and eat the money. HOWEVER, the instructions do NOT tell you how to properly attach the plastic piece. After some attempts at swapping with my husband, we found that

The position of the screw holes forces you to use a manual hex wrench (even if like me you have a power tool bit) resulting in a fourfold increase in assembly time compared to using a power tool. tool.2. The instructions actually *don't* tell you to use a power tool - this usually indicates materials prone to cracking.3. The recessed position of the screw holes also prevents them from getting enough light, forcing you to find your way around with an Allen wrench instead of seeing the correct
