Received and fitted today. Direction sucks as always. If you're using an extended arm, the wires won't reach about two inches from the pipe. I had to disconnect the Romex from the wires in the shed to connect to the factory wires. then guide through the pipe and assemble. Then drag the Romex through the barn to the junction box. Installation took about three times longer than expected. But. The result is amazing, as sunset approached the light came on and was far brighter than any previous…

Impressed by the brightness of the light

I have had a sodium lamp on the roof of my barn for 15 years. When my sodium lights ran out, I decided to switch to LEDs to reduce my electric bills. It's about 20 feet off the ground so I only wanted to do it once. Old people and stairs don't mix well. I was happy to see that it worked as advertised. The light she radiated surprised me. The wiring is twisted, not tight, so it's a little harder to connect. Also, the wiring needs to be long enough to run all the way through the mounting bar, but it's not, so you'll have to pull an electrical wire through, connect, and then feed the excess back. This was easiest to do with crimp connectors - with wire nuts they were…

I love this light though. Manufacturers, please read.

I have bought 4 lamps from this company in the last year or so. I recently decided to buy two more and saw these with a swiveling (or tilting/adjustable) head. That's great, but the screw holding the head in place is a VERY large hex wrench. My wife said "don't worry, you have all the tools" - unfortunately nothing for this size. Very annoying. Ironically, the heads of the screws that attach the lamp arm to the wall go into the tilt function screw and can be tightened a little but not fully…
