Get what you pay for.

I bought this generator in August 2015, it started making noise (clicks/sticks) and died at the end of July 2018. I drove 20,000 km.

Fits well in alternators and alternators

Purchased for my 1999 Volvo S70. The packaging is good, looks identical to the original, there are no installation problems. So far I've driven almost 1000 km with it. I will update in a few months.

First class product: Alternators

This alternator was perfect for my Volvo v70. He walked in immediately and shut up. Arrived well packaged and shipped quickly. Highly recommended for Volvo owners. Much cheaper and better than $220 at your local auto parts store. Just make sure you loosen the bolts on top of the air compressor to allow clearance for the alternator in the bracket.

2001 Volvo S60 2.4T, 160,000 km OE replacement and direct exchange. The generator is a challenge but getting there and this part is perfect. It comes from a database with a printed test chart showing the verified power output of the amp at various speeds, useful for future comparisons. The output voltage and amperage is better than my failed replacement on this clutch alternator. Very satisfied. UPDATE 3/2020: (5) years later and no problems.

So far so good: Alternators

Seems to work well - stable at 14.5 volts. It takes some time to work on the launch. The two-bolt bracket was slightly larger than the OEM Bosch ones, so I had to loosen the bottom A/C compressor bolts to attach it. The pre-cut top thread is a little less accurate than the OEM, but that doesn't matter, it just takes a bit of work to get the top screw in. Time will tell if it holds up. But for less than $100 in a Revain Warehouse deal, the game was worth it. Should definitely last longer than…

01 v70xc AWD - works

Hello, this is my second alternator that I have fitted to this car, the first was bought extra on ebay but not very good and now this one. Note that I've only driven 50 miles with this new alternator and seems to average 14.43 bolts on the battery so I can't complain. It works and doesn't cost $250-$300 for a Bosch or No Name from a local parts store in the same price range. The only thing I have is the installation process and no generator failure, the most problematic generator I have ever…
