I only bought this hat because it was labeled as being high in cotton and I'm interested in cotton for its freshness and flexibility, the product description says 65% cotton and 35% nylon, and When I received the full cap the label said 65% nylon and 35% cotton and with that amount of nylon the valve becomes stiff and doesn't cover the neck in some places and on top of that the valve is not big enough , IN MY HUMBLE OPINION . Bought the DealStock Flap Fishing Hat on the ears and neck - outdoor sun protection for my husband and he LOVES it. He wears it when gardening/mowing the lawn. The ear and neck vent really protects it from the sun. He can wear his hearing aids protected by the earmold and noise canceling headphones over the earmold. Excellent hat. Take the color I have, they call it green. it is olive green. I also have a camouflage hat and I like this green one better. It's a thinner material and is great for hot days. If you also wear a mosquito net like me then this hat is for you because it covers your neck and ears to keep those mosquitoes from getting in, the needle dropping the net and hitting the skin where they can get to (that will they always find a way).
