I wasn't sure about this toaster. If you look at the photos of most toasters, they really don't show very well how the crumb tray works. I like to put in a slice of cinnamon bread and toast it, but sometimes not all of the cinnamon toast comes out of the toaster and fills up inside. . This is not good because the pieces are too big to fit in the crumb tray. Trying to get all those pieces of bread out is impossible. It's almost as impossible to find a toaster with a drop down crumb tray so after

I wanted a toaster that toasted the outside instead of the inside. Cooking something faster and hotter will give you these results. This toaster has 1200 watts compared to 850, 900, rarely 1000 watts (2 slice toaster). So I liked the idea. The toaster looks good, too, being all metal except for the base, dial, and lever (the last button you touch is metal). The instructions do not mention incineration.
