It was easy to use and perfect for coloring some jewelry I wanted it to be the same color! I've learned that bamboo takes longer to dry and soak and the strokes are less even than other woods, but my tray still came out fine after a few touch-ups. The front of the baskets under the bench in our entryway were so worn I thought of buying a new one. They were still in good condition so I got the idea to repaint them. Color gel Love. But the bin is so small and you need a ton to cover a 2x4 foot sign. After two coats it gets darker. Make sure you have enough for your entire project because once you're done, getting more and trying to finish the project won't dry it out. It's water soluble so I was able to save my project by diluting it with water and protecting it. I haven't had good results with the white wash because it's half water and removes the stain. Next time I'll dry with a brush!

I used this for a small wall project and it turned out great! I applied it with a paper towel and then wiped off the excess with another paper towel. It took me all 3-4 minutes! I dried a fan on it in less than 30 minutes. This stain is practically odorless. I was expecting my house to smell a bit because of this, but I didn't even smell it when I was done.
