Great color! I quickly used it all up and bought the larger 8 ounce size for future projects. As with all Procion Mx dyes, pigment fineness and solubility are remarkable. I recommend this color on its own and also in combination with other mixtures for coloring parfaits and ombres in rovings.

I wanted to use a good quality non-toxic dye on a new pair of organic cotton jeans. I bought two pairs of taupes and thought I could dye one a chocolate brown. I used VERY warm to hot water and lots of dye according to directions and even left it on for over an hour. They appeared darker when I rinsed them out, it didn't seem like too much color had been washed off, but once dried they were a bit darker than the original taupe, definitely not brown.
