🔧 Efficient Mounting Solution: Dee Zee DZ16336 NXt Mounting Bracket for Easy Installation Review

They fit my 15 Ram 1500 perfectly. Everything was a perfect fit. I will mention 2 points. Hex anchors round off quickly, forcing you to use a locked nut. Tensioning the anchors also proved to be much more difficult than I had anticipated. All parts were present and the instructions were easy to understand.

The nut inserts that came with the bracket kit appear to be cheap aluminum that didn't exactly fit the hex holes on my 2014 Dodge Ram 2500. When I used a cheap deezee tool (8mm bolt, two plastic washers and a set of roller bearings) many of the inserts were rounded and just twisted without tightening. I had to buy a matching nut insert tightening tool for $30 online. Deezee must include the right tool even if it increases the price of the kit!

2019 Ram 2500 Double Cab. Installed perfectly. Rivnuts seemed difficult, but they are incredibly easy to make. I liberally lubricated my nut wrench and it worked great. NXt boards stand firmly on the truck after being installed with this hardware kit. The threaded nuts are aluminum and the hardware is 10.9 degrees, so I was careful not to over tighten the screws that go into the threaded nuts and applied some anti-seize compound to prevent seizing.
