Description of Defender Forsage Drift GT Kit Black
- simple, convenient, suitable for games
- Don't know
- Steering angle, many customizable independent buttons, clamp at the steering wheel.
- Poor reliability, light pedals without fastening, instructions are not true. Inadequate operation of the sensitivity regulator.
- Comfortable, well made, pleasant to the touch
- Sometimes clicks get on your nerves - a little loud)
- It is relatively cheap. Perfectly fulfills its main function, there are many extras. buttons, pedals. Vibration.
- The pedals constantly change their position, as they are light in weight and glide well on the floor. The steering wheel is attached quite securely, but rarely comes off the table at the most unnecessary moment.
- Price. Gear lever. No power supply.
- Duplication of buttons on the lever and on the steering wheel. The middle button is pressed but not connected to anything.
- -Price; -Possibility of manual adjustment of sensitivity (very convenient feature); - Angle of rotation (270 degrees); - Presence of vibration; - The presence on the steering wheel of the indicator of pressing the accelerator pedal;
- - Pedals (Very close to each other. Light pedal block, slide on any surface); -Suckers (Made of poor quality, as a result of which the steering wheel does not hold well on the surface of the table, the presence of a clamp does not solve the problem, because the other edge of the steering wheel continues to come off);
- Easy to set up, paddle shifters
- Low reliability, coincidence of buttons L2 / R2 with the gearshift lever
- Relatively large angle of rotation. Price. Good quality. Sensitivity adjustment right on the stand.
- The play is small on the swivel axle. The discrepancy between the real angle of rotation and the angle of rotation in games: the dynamics of the turn is not uniform, it increases with the increase in the turn in a geometric progression, and not in arithmetic.
- Among the advantages can be noted: - rotation angle of 270 degrees; - the presence of vibration; - sensitivity setting right on the body (!), in games it is very, very convenient, you don’t need to go into the settings, this is a big plus; - the presence of a clamp; - many buttons that allow you to configure almost all car control functions, especially in simulators; - on the steering wheel there are indicators of pressing the accelerator pedal; - the location of the gearshift lever is quite convenient, it is right on the body, there is no need to mount it separately, as on some models
- Now for the disadvantages. There are not many of them and they can be fixed. The first drawback is light pedals. Both on the carpet and on the floor - they slide, the legs are made of hard rubber. I solved this problem this way: around the perimeter of the pedal stand (from below) I glued a rubber window seal (I think everyone has seen it, there is white and brown, it has the shape of the letter D). Now they stand perfectly on the floor, they do not move anywhere. Instead of a seal, you can glue some kind of silicone gaskets, but I didn’t find any. The second drawback is bad suction cups. Some of them are crooked and do not hold well. I tried to keep them in boiling water, and knead them - all to no avail. I think that they can be replaced with similar ones that are on soap dishes, hooks for the bath and kitchen, and other similar products. There are no more shortcomings.
