It's locked and we can't slide it up to adjust the height. Can you tell me what to do or where the button is so I can bring the monitor back up? I bought this monitor about a month ago and I can say that I am completely satisfied with the quality of the monitor and the service. Although the company I bought this monitor from said it was in good condition, that was an understatement to say the least. The monitor arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition. There were very few spots I could find. There were no dead pixels, the screen is bright and clear. If I ever need to buy another monitor, I will definitely go with this one…

I had this 17" Dell Ultrasharp monitor at my work place while doing research at university. At a resolution of 1024 x 768, it displays a full web page (left to right) without having to move your head across the screen. Received a larger 19" Ultrasharp but sent it back to our IT engineer. It wasn't nearly as sharp and crisp as the 17-inch. Although the 19" has better specs, I kept adjusting it and never got it right. Please return the 17" monitor. GOOD: This works for my immediate need - a text monitor for a UNIX server. BAD: The description of the item dates back to 1708 (rather high scores for this type). I have 170S (pretty low specs for this guy). If multiple products are included, describe the lowest feature set, not the highest. I bought this as a second monitor to use in conjunction with my 39 inch ultra wide screen. In portrait mode, it's the same vertical size as my 39" monitor, so it fits perfectly next to it. The screen is small, but just big enough for me to be able to see important information during my game stream and still have a full screen game on my main monitor.

I was happy with the fast delivery service but the quality of the screen was poor. I've made several attempts to fix the problem to no avail.
