Works handy for my review.

The monitor works fine but the USB ports don't work. If I were to buy for this I would make a return stsr znd Excellent monitor and delivered on time. Good job!.

Great monitor. I use it as a second monitor and it works great. However, it does get quite warm with prolonged use. Unattractive design.!

BIG in function, small in text.

It has great features for a small size, but the 17-inch Samsung has regular-sized text. Regardless of the settings, it still stays small at the highest settings.

A truly reliable and durable monitor

I bought this 17" UltraSharp in 2003 when it was still called the 1703FP. Three years ago I bought a 24" UltraSharp 2405U. I use them side by side. The 1703FP isn't quite as bright as the 2405U, but there's no difference in the clarity of letters, lines and other outlines. Great price for this old Dell monitor. Shipping was fast and the item arrived in great condition. comes with power cord and VGA cable. There are no visible dead pixels, and the brightness and contrast exceed my expectations. Not the highest resolution but perfect for my needs.

It's not always cheap

Didn't work with the Lorex security system. The screen is too small to display different camera images. There is no way to adapt. I had to buy a 27 inch screen to view everything. Pros: cheap, good clear picture for used ones. Cons: didn't work when needed, very heavy.

I blame myself, but the monitor doesn't come with a stand. It's a monitor only, so be sure to order a stand if you don't have one.

Even better than expected!

I wanted to find a less bulky monitor that would work with my Vostro tower and I was VERY happy with this purchase. The monitor was received in a very reasonable time frame and was in excellent condition. Even my wife loves it so easy to see. The price was amazing and it arrived in a few days so it's easy to set up, unplug and plug back in. Other family members asked if they could get it for Christmas. I can't wait to get another big screen monitor
