Does the job best in Fuel Pumps & Accessories

Good product. Good: Good price - $400 less than what local Ford dealers charged for a Ford OEM part and $60 less than the best local auto parts store for the same part. - All parts needed were included - pump, tank gasket, splice wires etc - Good instructions (with one exception - the wiring text is poorly written but the relevant diagram is correct). Beware of compatibility tables for Ford Explorer!

I have a 1996 Explorer XLT 4.0 OHV 4 Door USA. All of this data is important if you have a '96 or earlier because Ford, in their infinite wisdom, chose to use different fuel pumps with different Explorer variants. Delphi FG0229 is listed as compatible with my variant but ends up being slightly different. In my version, the pump motor is attached to the pump frame with three bolts. Two screws thread into the center of the pump and one threads into the stud on top of the pump, near where the pump
