Good case - external accessories

Case fits my Beetle well. The seams are well finished. cover honey. dark grey, not light gray like the picture, which is normal. I hope it will withstand UV but time will tell.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Thin

It's only been 3 months and it's already falling apart

At first glance the case seems to fit perfectly. Which is hard to do for a 62 dune buggy. After 3 months it is already dry rotted and only cracks. I don't know if it was dry rot or what. But I should get another cover now. Maybe I just got a bad one, if so I'd really appreciate a different cover and its location and I'll even send it back for you to see

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Plenty

Will not survive outdoors. Don't waste money.

DO NOT BUY if you use it for outdoor storage. I noticed that after a month the condition was getting worse and now after two months it started to break down. waste of money for me. I have a Manx style dune buggy on a short '67 platform with a roll cage, motor cage and large rear tires. The cap fit except for my Stinger exhaust. That's enough for the tires to pop out after some wind. With an exhaust that would be stupid. The cable held it firmly under the stroller when twisted into a loop. But…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

It's not worth it. in External Accessories

Update: I received it in June 2016; now, in May 2017, flip, flip and tear it up. As with most things, you get what you pay for. At first I thought the wind would do it, but it looks like the sun killed it. For what it's worth, I have a California trunk for my 1970 Buick from Sunbrella; it was about 5 times the price of this one (70 Buicks are also the size of 3 VW Bugs.) but it lasted over 10 years! Looks like I'm about to buy one. First review: I had it on my Baja a few months ago; Fits snugly

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old
